Privacy Policy

• Account details — your name, email address, and the workspaces and teams you belong to.
• Content you create — messages, threads, files and images you upload, voice notes, polls, tasks, events, and reactions.
• Vault data — secrets stored in the zero-knowledge vault are end-to-end encrypted on your device; we cannot read them.
• Technical data — IP address, device and browser type, and log/diagnostic data needed to run the service securely.

The mobile app requests these permissions only for the features that use them:

• Microphone — to record voice messages and power Arabic/French voice-to-text. Audio is captured only while you are recording.
• Camera & photos/media — to attach images and files to messages.
• Notifications — to alert you to messages, mentions, and reminders.

You can revoke any of these in your device settings at any time.

To provide and secure the service: deliver and sync your messages and files, run search and AI features you invoke, send notifications you ask for, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your message content for advertising.

All traffic between the apps and our servers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Vault secrets are additionally end-to-end encrypted so they are unreadable to us. Access to production data is restricted and audited.

We share data only with service providers that help us operate (e.g. hosting and, where you enable it, push-notification delivery), under contracts that limit their use to providing the service. We may disclose data where required by law. Within your organisation, content is visible to other members of the channels and teams you participate in.

We keep your data for as long as your account or workspace is active. Workspace administrators may set their own retention and legal-hold rules. When an account or workspace is deleted, we remove its data, subject to short backup-rotation and legal retention periods.

You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Depending on your location (including under the EU GDPR), you may have additional rights. To exercise them, contact us at the address below, or ask your workspace administrator.

Fada is intended for workplaces and is not directed at children under 16.

We may update this policy; material changes will be announced in-app or by email. The “Effective” date above reflects the latest version.
